Waverly Wilson has been helping families navigate the private school admission process since 1999.  Waverly earned her B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and her J.D. from Baylor Law School. She began her professional career as a trial lawyer in Dallas. She transitioned to the education world to serve as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Greenhill School. After transitioning again to stay home with her children, Waverly's experience and expertise in private school admission made her a go-to resource for parents and school administrators alike.

Perfect Placement was born of the many requests from families and school administrators for advice, information, and counsel regarding admission and placement of students in PreK-12th grade schools. Waverly works with families locally, nationally, and internationally to sort through the many school choices available and to empower her clients to go confidently into the admission process. She assists students in putting their best foot forward.

Waverly also provides consulting services to both public and private schools. She helps schools develop formal admission programs and provides placement assistance and services for schools which must prepare their students to apply out to the next school/grade level. Waverly is a frequent lecturer for schools and parent groups on topics ranging from the admission process, how to choose schools, private vs. public options, the role of admission testing, etc.

In addition to consulting, Waverly served on the Greenhill Board of Trustees for 9 years and as the Assistant Chairman of that Board. She also served on the  daVinci School Board of Directors and as its Chairman.

Waverly is a Dallas native who attended Greenhill School for twelve years.  She and her husband, McCord, have two children who attended area private schools.

Karen Deniger is the author and creator of Perfect Placment's ISEE and SSAT preparation programs. All of these programs are designed  to prepare students for the admission testing process so they are empowered to do their personal best on test day. Karen supervises all of the Perfect Placement ISEE Prep Courses offered privately and at various schools in the Dallas area. She continually updates and improves the Perfect Placement curricula for our clients.

Karen received her B.A. from Hamilton College with a concentration in Economics and received her M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College. She is professionally certified in secondary mathematics and secondary social studies. Karen has taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Economics at the high school level, and Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 at the junior high level.

After leaving the classroom, Karen directed the Lakewood Elementary School tutoring program in conjunction with Southern Methodist University for several years. She was the Lakewood Elementary PTA President and helped coach the math team at Lakewood Elementary. Karen has been tutoring students at various private and public schools throughout Dallas for 25 years.

Since inception, Karen has led Perfect Placement as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Test Prep. She creates high quality curricula and test prep materials for the major admission assessments, including the SSAT and the ISEE, and she oversees the use of those materials by our independent tutors. Karen is frequently sought out by school administrators to review classroom curriculum to ensure it prepares students for admission testing. Karen also regularly creates school-specific on-campus admission test prep programs for these schools.

Karen and her husband, Clay, have three children who  attended area private, public and International Baccalaureate schools, including a graduate of Colby College, a graduate of Hamilton College, and a junior at Bucknell University.
